Artist Sagaki Keita was born in 1984 and lives and works in Tokyo. His densely composited pen and ink illustrations contain thousands of whimsical characters that are drawn almost completely improvised. I am dumbstruck looking at these and love the wacky juxtaposition of fine art and notebook doodles
“I am a creature of grief and dust and bitter longings. There is an empty place within me where my heart was once.”

THE ONLINE MUSEUM OF ENDANGERED SOUNDS
Say you miss the sound of a good Nokia ringtone. Or let’s suppose that the sound of a Gameboy is lacking from your life. Brendan Chilcutt has started an online museum of endangered sounds from devices and gadgets of years passed.
Some of these are around and still kicking, but in a few years or so they may become completely obsolete and thus younger generations might not ever get a chance to hear what they sounded like. The online archive includes the connecting of 56k modems, loading VCRs, skipping CD’s, and so much more. Check out the Museum of Endangered Sounds now and take a trip down audible memory lane!
